How it started
WTH Notes?! was born from a specific kind of corporate suffering — the kind where your best ideas get lost in a sea of Post-its, repurposed legal pads, and notebooks from conferences you didn't want to attend. We made something better, less beige, and just weird enough to be memorable.
Who we are
We started WTH Notes?! because we were tired of notebooks that took themselves too seriously — and offices that didn't take us seriously enough. The result is a line of products that are premium where it counts (the paper, the binding, the construction) and mildly unhinged in all the right ways.
Every name in our collection is something we've heard in a real meeting. Every layout is designed to actually work the way people work — not the way productivity influencers tell you you should work while standing in a greenhouse at 6 a.m.
We're a small team. We like paper. We've all had bad managers. You'll be fine. Probably.
Six things we believe in, stated plainly. No mission statement required.
We obsess over gsm weights, bleed resistance, and lay-flat binding so you don't have to. The notebook should disappear and let your thinking take centre stage.
We don't say things like "unlock your full potential" or "be the CEO of your own life." We say what things do and how many pages they have. You're welcome.
The name of our best-selling planner is a running joke shared by millions of office workers. If that resonates with you, you're our kind of customer.
We use FSC-certified paper, sewn bindings, and proper hardcovers because a notebook you actually use shouldn't fall apart by Q3.
A person reads every email. That person has opinions about notebooks and is happy to help. Response time: under 24 hours, no ticket system, no FAQ maze.
We try to do the right thing: sustainable materials, fair suppliers, honest pricing. We just don't plaster it on everything. Doing good and talking about doing good are different.
Go on, then
They won't fix your job. But they'll make it significantly more bearable to sit through, which is honestly a heroic accomplishment.
